Virtual Football keeps the game alive!

Understandably, this year saw grassroots football take a different tactic through virtual development sessions provided by our partners, The Chelsea Foundation. The response has been fantastic. Over 100 kids registered, and over 80 teens from our older age groups got on board too. 

The Club also partnered with app creator Amaven to create our new FUFC App. Offering specific skill development with different drills each week helps players practice and up their game. We maintained the match-like competitiveness by holding competitions across all age groups. The three winners, Ben Budd, Charlie Rogers and Finlay Williams, walked away with some awesome prizes. Not only is the app helping development while we’re away from the pitch, but we hope that kids will continue to benefit for the rest of the season.
